The waste ink collection unit is a sealed unit for an efficient replacement designed to optimise your printing operations while minimising environmental impact.

The waste ink collector unit is engineered to efficiently capture and contain excess ink during the printing process.

By effectively collecting and storing unused ink, it prevents it from being needlessly wasted or released into the environment, reducing pollution and promoting eco-conscious practices.

NOTE: Your printer will notify you when the waste ink collection unit needs to be replaced.

Checking the waste ink level

You can check the waste ink level by looking at the icon that appears above the waste ink full indicator.

If the ink collector unit is almost full, the message “Ink Collector Almost Full” will appear on the display. Make sure you have a new ink collector on hand.

If the ink collector unit is full, the message “Ink Collector Unit Full/Replace Ink Collector Unit" will appear on the display.

At this point, replace the ink collector unit.
