Kiwocol Poly-Plus SWR Emulsion
KIWOCOL POLY-PLUS SWR is a high quality diazo-photopolymer emulsion. It is suitable for all printing applications with plastisol, solvent-based and UV inks.
This replaces Fotecoat 1771 emulsion
Its outstanding copying properties make it the ideal choice for fine detail and 4-colour process work. KIWOCOL POLY-PLUS SWR has superior strength against most solvents and ink washes, while remaining durable in humid environments and its flexibility offers very good mechanical resistance.
KIWOCOL POLY-PLUS SWR has excellent coating properties on mesh counts of 40-470 threads per inch (16-185 threads per cm). For best printing results, the following coating techniques are recommended using a round (2 - 2.5 mm) edged coating trough:
40-86 tpi (16-34 tpcm): 2-1 wet-on-wet
110-156 tpi (40-61 tpcm): 2-2 wet-on-wet
175-305 tpi (69-120 tpcm): 2-2 wet-on-wet
330-470 tpi (130-185 tpcm): 2-2 wet-on-wet
For specific applications, and due to varied screen room equipment and conditions, the correct coating technique for your process must be determined through coating tests.
Available in both blue or red.
