Cap head assembly for Sawgrass Virtuoso VJ628 Dye Sublimation Printers.
Cap head assemblies require replacement every six months as part of your preventative maintenance and cleaning, or as needed. Indicators that the assembly requires replacing include the rubber seal that surrounds the print head during cleaning has become worn. When the area maintains ink puddles or retains bubbles on surface, indicating a clog. And in instances where nozzle loss can not be retrieved using basic cleaning measures, as seen in the basic preventative maintenance and cleaning Sawgrass tutorial video.
When performing maintenance on your VJ628 printer:
- Do not wipe dust or debris towards the print head.
- Utilise the gloves, lint-free cloths and foam-tip swabs from your cleaning kit.
