Gloss Vinyl Cover White

Due to the slower drying nature of the Gloss Vinyl series it is ideally suited for the printer with a hand print operation. The system is a highly flexible vinyl resin system specifically formulated for printing on vinyl surfaces where a high gloss finish is required. The inks form a positive bond on most vinyl surfaces, which may be vacuum formed.

Substrate and End-Use:

The Gloss Vinyl ink system has displayed excellent adhesion Pressure-Sensitive vinyl films, Vinyl coated products, vacuum formed vinyl plastics, Cellulose Acetate and Lexan to name but a few. .

Thinners:

Thin up to 15% with Gloss Vinyl Thinner FGV180. To slow drying time thin with Gloss Vinyl Retarder FGV182.

Additives:

Use Gloss Vinyl Clear FGV170 for varying degree of colour strength and transparency (also metallic clear vehicle). Use Universal Sharp Print compound FSU178 for fine detail printing (will slightly reduce gloss level).

For a flat finish use up to 15% Flattening Paste FSU5935 (used as a reducer). Where the final print will be expected to withstand extreme weather conditions or severe chemical exposure we recommend the print be final coated with A.S.I. Pro-Pack Clear FSU3780/3781 to improve the resistance quality of the underlying print.
