Changes to payment surcharges - 2017

SYDNEY, Australia - November 27, 2017

The NAB has recently raised GJS' credit card merchant surcharge fees from 1% to 1.2% for the acceptance of Visa and Mastercard payments. As a result, credit card purchases will attract this revised surcharge of 1.2% from Monday 27 November, 2017.

This is GJS' first credit card surcharge increase since 2008. GJS makes no profit from payment surcharges and always endeavours to partner with financial providers who will provide the best rates for you, our valued customers.

Customers wishing a surcharge-free payment option can choose to pay via POLi, a secure and completely free alternative to credit card and PayPal. You can read more about POLi payments here.

Additionally, from today all purchases made with PayPal will attract a lower surcharge with fees reduced from 2% to 1.8% per transaction.
