GJS announces availability of two new film-positive printer packages

GJS today announced the availability of two new printer packages for the creation of high-quality film positives that can then be used to produce screens for the traditional screen printing process. Both solutions utilise Epson printers and are offered for the first time in Australia with the industry leading AccuRIP Black Pearl SE RIP, allowing users to create high-quality, solid and halftone films up to 65 lines-per-inch (lpi) with high UV opacity and an exceptional black density.
Epson T3200 Screen Print Edition 24″ Film Printer Package
A complete 24-inch film positive printing solution for screen printing. The new Epson SureColorT3200 Screen Print Edition printer, packaged withAccuRIP Black Pearl SEsoftwareandFotecfoil transparent inkjet film, has been developed for the professional printing of high-quality, large formatfilm positives, used to produce screens for the traditional screen printing process.
Epson P800 Screen Print Edition 17″ Film Printer Package
A complete 17-inch film positive printing solution for screen printers. The new Epson SureColorP800 Screen Print Edition printer, packaged withAccuRIP Black Pearl SE softwareandFotecfoil transparent inkjet film, is developed for the professional printing of high-quality, smaller format film positives. By utilisinga full eight colour pigment ink set, the versatile Epson SC-P800 also allows screen printers to diversify and produce high quality proofs, graphics, professional quality photographic and fine art images all from the same device.
AccuRIP Black Pearl SE RIP for Epson P800 and T3200
AccuRIP Black Pearl SE translatesthe PostScript data of a graphics file and readies it for printingon anon-PostScript device such as aninkjet printer to create a film positive. AccuRIP Black Pearl SE is accurate, easy to use and efficient. Engineered for both Windows and Macand when matched with the UltraChrome inks in the Epson P800 or T3200 printers, this solution enables users to produce high-quality, solid and halftone films up to 65 lines-per-inch (lpi) with high UV opacity and an exceptional black density up to 4.0 Dmax.
