Delivery delays to Western Australia

SYDNEY, Australia - November 24, 2022

Road freight items sent to Western Australia from our warehouse may take up to an additional two weeks to be delivered due to the closure of transport networks to Western Australia.

Extreme weather and flooding in NSW have caused significant damage and the closure of rail lines and roads to Western Australia. This is continuing to disrupt and impact transport infrastructure and supply chains to and from Western Australia.

Given this ongoing situation and the current delays, StarTrack has brought forward their recommended pre-Christmas final lodgement dates for Parcel Post deliveries for customers in Western Australia by one week.

The cut-off date for WA customers to receive deliveries before Christmas is as follows:
Deliveries to WA from NSW: order placed by Wednesday 7 December.

Additionally, an emergency measure cost of 40% of freight charges will be incurred for all articles lodged for delivery into Western Australia.

As a result, we have disabled standard road services to WA from our checkout and temporarily paused free freight shipping options to WA. Customers wanting to opt for a road service will need to email help@gjs.co to obtain a freight quote.

StarTrack Premium service is not affected by rail network disruptions. If you need to send items to Western Australia urgently, consider this option. Please note that as more customers opt to use this service, there may be a two-day delivery delay.

Please keep this cut-off date in mind when placing orders this holiday season.

Deliveries to other states and territories remain unaffected.
