Roland DG Launch Printer Assist iPad App

Roland’s new Printer Assist is a free app that makes it easy to manage your printer directly from your iPad tablet. Featuring an intuitive interface that takes full advantage of the iPad’s large screen, the Roland Printer Assist allows you to check printing status and navigate through the most commonly used menus for maximum convenience and efficiency.

You can instantly see key operating parameters such as the amount of ink remaining, as well as waste bottle status. It also notifies you when it is time to replace consumable parts. The intuitive interface features clear control menus that are easy to navigate to keep things running smoothly.

Remote monitoring for maximum efficiency

Even when you are away from the printer, you can manage commonly used menu operations, such as power on/off, test print and cleaning for maximum efficiency. To truly optimize your productivity the Roland Printer Assist allows you to manage multiple printers from one iPad tablet.

Easy-to-navigate maintenance processes

Interactive documentation for processes such as manual cleanings and part replacement is easy to access and features step by step diagrams that walk the operator through the procedures, making these tasks a breeze.

*Roland Printer Assist must be connected to the same network environment as the printer. *As of July 2nd, 2014, only the VersaEXPRESS RF-640/RF-640A printer is supported. Additional printer support to be announced when available.
